We operate where used plastic is generated — transforming it into high-quality recycled materials for new production. By controlling materials early in the process, we preserve quality, increase value, and enable the recovery of clean, specific polymer streams.

Ainir is a technology and manufacturing company operating across the full value chain — from collection and sorting to recycling and traceability. This gives us a unique understanding of how materials move, degrade, and retain value.
Our approach is built on selective front-end recycling. By recovering plastics before contamination or value loss occurs, we create solutions that work in practice — not just in theory.

Name: Thor Sverre Minnesjord
Position: Co-Founder

Former executive and entrepreneur with 25 years’ experience in Scandinavian cleantech and circular economy businesses. Skilled in building corporate structures, developing and executing financing and investment plans, as well as marketing and customer development. Founder of Green Business Norway, an organization committed to supporting the Norwegian circular economy industry.

Name: Anders Peinert
Position: CFO

35 years’ experience in finance. Previously CFO of Huddlestock Fintech AS (listed in Norway), TP Biogas AS, TergoPower AS and Midcost Capital AS. Extensive capital markets experience as CIO at leading Nordic asset management companies Storebrand and Alecta, as well as from corporate finance consultancy work.

Position: Head of Hardware

Master of Science, System Engineering and Industrial Economy with project management and engineering experience in greenfield/newbuild projects. Responsible for hardware engineering.

Name: Bård Sundrehagen
Position: Market Director

20+ years’ international sales experience, with a strong track record and contacts in hospitals and global healthcare corporations. Also, with a strong track record in transforming business ideas and innovation to product commercialization. Co-founder and former CEO, Gentian Diagnostics (listed in Norway) and former CEO of Tannfeen Norge.

Name: Jørgen Ingeberg
Position: Special advisor, Circular Packaging Development

35+ years’ experience and strong track record in the packaging, food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Held executive positions overseeing operations, sales, and project development, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and circular packaging.

Position: Board member

27 years of experience in finance across public and private markets, with a focus on sustainable investments. She is a Partner at Morphosis and has previously held senior roles at Lazard, Federated Hermes and Jupiter Asset Management. She has served as Co-Chair of the Natural Capital Investment Alliance, as a NED at Fair4All Finance, and as an expert member of the International Advisory Panel for Biodiversity Credits.

30 years’ experience in corporate development, international business development and strategy across various sectors and countries, including the US and Canada.

Name: Lorenzo Williams
Position: Board member

30 years of international experience in sustainability, HSE, risk management and technological innovation, including senior roles in the pharmaceutical industry and consulting environments. He holds a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, has completed postdoctoral work in the USA and Norway, and has an extensive portfolio of scientific publications.
