Our Solution – Portable Automated On-Site Sorting
Ainir’s portable sorting facility is deployed directly at each hospital, enabling plastic waste to be processed close to where it is generated. This preserves material quality, reduces unnecessary transport and prevents valuable plastics from being mixed with other waste streams.
The process
- Feeding
Collected hospital plastics are fed into the system. - Identification
Advanced computer vision, AI and infrared technology identify each product, its category and polymer type. - Sorting
The identified products are automatically separated into clearly defined material streams, including PET, PP, PE and HDPE. - Collection
Each sorted fraction is collected separately to maintain purity and material value. - Shredding
The plastics are shredded into uniform flakes, ready for further processing and use in new products. - Big Bag Storage
The finished plastic flakes are transferred into dedicated big bags for efficient handling and transportation.

Throughout the process, the system collects detailed data on every product handled. This provides complete insight into the types and quantities of plastics collected, sorted and prepared for recycling.
Based on actual processing data, not estimates, Ainir can provide each hospital with precise and verifiable environmental reporting. Hospitals can document how much plastic has been collected and recycled, together with the associated material recovery and environmental impact.
