For Ainir, the support from the Telemark Development Fund is both an important contribution to the project and a recognition of the potential of the technology we are developing. Throughout our dialogue with the Fund, we have experienced a strong understanding of the technology, the industrialisation process and what it takes to build a new industrial company in Telemark with ambitions extending far beyond the region.
The challenge we are addressing is international. Hospitals generate significant volumes of high-quality plastic packaging that today is largely sent for incineration. At the same time, demand is growing for recycled plastics with documented quality and origin.
Ainir is now entering a new and important phase in the development of Cyclotron 365. The technology is moving from development and engineering to completion, validation and industrialisation. In parallel, we are preparing our first commercial projects and laying the foundation for further scaling in the Nordics and across Europe.
